This is an ongoing project, begun in Spring 2024. Each piece begins with a plastic item rescued from my recycling. I shape a piece of wood to form in and around the plastic, trying to harmonize the design of the wood with with plastic. I am inspired by nature’s work to coexist with the artificial materials that proliferate in our environment.
